The fifth edition of the beauty pageant aimed at celebrating Ghana’s cultural heritage, Miss Golden Stool was finally outdoored.

Speaking to the media, the founder of Miss Golden Stool, Sally Akua Amoakowaa promised patrons of exciting content for the next eight weeks.

“Expect something different in the eight weeks of fully packed actions. Each week will be something different with well-researched topics,” she added.
Against this backdrop, Akua Amoakowaa charged the contestants to put their best foot forward and think beyond the crown, because the platform provided was more than the crown.
“Most at times, people focus on winning the crown to the extent that if they do not win, their world comes to a halt, they do not see themselves impacting society. This year we want to help the contestants look beyond that,” she disclosed.
She added “Last year we tried to add a bit of vocational training for the contestants. This year, there would be something to enable contestants to make an impact in society even if they do not win the contest.”
All the contestants have expressed their preparedness to promote their various cultures to the rest of the world.
