All set for Praise Achievement Awards on Sunday
The Gospel fraternity will gather at the Oil Dome of the Royal House Chapel on Sunday December 17, 2023 to celebrate musicians who have worked hard in the year under review.
This is to recognition the unflinching dissemination the gospel through their music over the period.
The organisers told thespectatoronline.com that measures have been put in place for a remarkable experience for all stakeholders on Sunday.
According to them, the red carpet will commence at 2pm ahead of the main show at 4pm.
Patrons would be thrilled by performances from Evans Scott, Perez Musik, Piesie Esther, MOG, Diana Hamilton, Joe Mettle, Obaapa Christy, Celestial Donkor, Nacee, Ohemaa Mercy Harmonious Choral, Bethel Revival Choir, Team Eternity Ghana, Keeper’s Music, Lordina The Soprano, ACP Kofi Sarpong and legendary duo, Tagoe Sisters.
To supplement the effort of these Ghanaian greats would be celebrated American Gospel Musician and Worship Leader, Alvin Slaughter and South Africa’s Ntokonzo Mbambo.
The categories up for grabs include, Christian Event of the Year, Discovery of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Best Christian Radio Station, Best Christian Radio of the Year, Best Gospel Group, Female Vocalist of the Year, Gospel DJ of the Year, Best Christian Blogger of the Year, Best Collaboration of the Year.
Other categories are, Inspirational Song of the Year, Best Gospel Group, Worship Song of the Year, Urban Gospel Artiste of the Year, Praise Artiste of the Year, Worship Artiste of the Year, Best Gospel Music Video, Christian Movie of the Year, Best Chorale Group, New Artiste of the Year, Producer of the Year, and Inspirational Song of the Year among others.
Churches, gospel artistes, artiste managers, producers, associations and record labels among others were earlier encouraged to keep voting for their favourites to place them in a pole position for victory.
Praise Achievement Awards is organised by God’s Family Music Ministries.

KobbySalm’s Ekklesia Rave – A vibrant celebration of praise and graduation
The second edition of KobbySalm’s highly anticipated Ekklesia Rave (Leavers Edition) took place recently at Potter’s Family Chapel, drawing a large crowd in a powerful celebration of praise to God.
The event was not only a dynamic praise experience but also served as a momentous occasion to celebrate the successful graduation of high school students who had just completed their exams.
Attendees included students, their proud parents, and young adults from various walks of life. The atmosphere was electric, filled with lively dance ministrations, passionate worship, and an eclectic energy that resonated throughout the gathering.
KobbySalm thrilled the audience with a performance of his highly anticipated single, “Cast Your Burdens” featuring S.O.N Music, marking S.O.N Music’s first-time live performance of the song, which left the crowd in awe.
The night also saw a stellar lineup of performances, including Kofi Karikari, who joined KobbySalm for a live soul-stirring rendition of “Never Forget”.
Scott Evans delivered an electrifying set with his Afro-Gospel / Amapiano-infused set, while Neqta impressed with his soothing lyrical prowess. PO Godson came on with full Gospel Rap lyricism and Minister Paulo elevated the atmosphere of worship with his powerful ministration, and Team Eternity, the hitmakers behind “Defe Defe”, crowned the event with a captivating time of worship, leading everyone into a blissful encounter in God’s presence.
KobbySalm is now set to release his eagerly awaited new single, “Cast Your Burdens”, featuring S.O.N Music, known for the hit track “Darling Jesus”.
