All set for Velocity Conference 2024

Celebrated Ghanaian musician and Man of God, Sonnie Badu has expressed his readiness for the Velocity Conference.
The Velocity Conference 2024 is a transformational event poised to captivate hearts and minds through empowering messages and music.
The event is scheduled for March 6 to March 10, 2024, at Reign House Chapel, North Legon Accra.
Patrons would have prophetic encounters with Prophet Eric Boahen, the host, Prophet Agyemang Prempeh, Minister Sonnie Badu and powerful ministration from MOG Music, Nacee and Kofi Owusu Peprah.
In a message to Ghanaians, Sonnie Badu said, he is excited to come back home from his USA base.
According to him, he has a word of God which would change lives and cause a stir of revolution in people’s destiny to share at the event.
He therefore urged Ghanaians not to miss such a crucial opportunity to move in divine speed.
In an interview with thespectatoronline.com, the brain behind the event, Prophet Eric Boahene said, “Velocity,” was inspired by the dynamic power and movement of the Holy Spirit. In the Bible, the Holy Spirit is often described as a wind, rushing mightily and bringing change.”
He added that “ We believe that God is calling us to move with intentionality and purpose, propelled by the Spirit’s leading, to fulfill His plans for our lives and our nation.”
Touching on the line-up, he said “We carefully curated the line-up for Velocity, seeking individuals known for their powerful prophetic voices, their vibrant faith, and their commitment to serving God’s purpose. Government, GoldFields,reach agreement on Damang Mine

The Government of Ghana and Goldfields Ghana Limited have reached an amicable agreement on a transitional plan for the Damang Mine.
The operational modalities of the transition involve issuing a new 12-month mining lease to Goldfields’ subsidiary, Abosso Goldfields Limited, pending parliamentary ratification in
May 2025.
Under the new arrangement, Goldfields will resume open-pit mining during the transition period, safeguarding jobs and conducting feasibility studies to establish Damang’s reserves and mine life.
At the same time, the processing of existing stockpiles will continue under the supervision of a joint management team composed of representatives from the Government of Ghana
and Goldfields. The two parties will work in good faith to secure a successful transition and eventual transfer of a viable mine to Ghanaian ownership.
Both parties have agreed to advance discussions in good faith on the renewal of the lease for the Tarkwa mine, due in 2027, and pledged to work together to enhance Ghana’s
potential in the mining sector as a favourable investment destination,
