‘Aseda Afore3’, thanksgiving song for Christmas – Shatty Charlotte

UK-based Ghanaian gospel artiste and nurse, Shatty Charlotte has compiled her testimonies into a song dubbed, Aseda Afore3″.

This is to show appreciation to God for all the mercies and favour throughout the year.

The song from her album ‘’Power of praise’’, explains the essence of Thanksgiving. 

Speaking to The Spectator, Shatty Charlotte said that she testified to God’s power after a patient was restored to life by prayer under her supervision as a nurse in UK.

 ‘’ In my first week practising as a nurse, a young lady nearly died in my bay, she collapsed and was unresponsive so I had to press the emergency buzzer, I began to pray and it was as if someone had called her from afar, she just sat up and I was completely amazed by the work of God, this inspired me to write ‘’Aseda Afore3’’ – she said 

Shatty Charlotte is optimistic that this single will be a blessing to lives and the world at large especially this yuletide and it’s available on all digital music platforms. 

Gospel singer, songwriter and currently a nurse in the United Kingdom, Shatty Charlotte has been singing since childhood, a gift her father noticed when she was three years. 

Shatty was enrolled at the at the Rev John Teye Memorial Institute in Accra to begin her primary and music education.

While there she had the opportunity to sing in various places including the State House, Goethe Institut – Accra and on GBC TV.

Shatty has a great passion for the things of the Kingdom of God. Her album ‘’Power in Praise’’ tells the story of her life and one reason you should never give up in life. 

She is married with three children who all live in the United Kingdom.

‘Last Stop’ premieres on Friday, March 28

All is set for the premiere of the much-anticipated movie dubbed ‘Last Stop’ on Friday, March 28, 2025.

The movie will premiere at the Silverbird Cinemas (Accra Mall and West Hills Mall) and the Golden Eagles Cinema in Kumasi.

In the movie Last Stop, produced and directed by Kwabena Gyansah, a commercial driver and his assistant chaos after the assistant sells a passenger’s forgotten phone.

“Last Stop” offers thrills, emotional depth, and a story that keeps one guessing.

 Redeemed Baptist Church congratulates trio

 Three members of the Redeemed Baptist Church in Ogbojo – Emerita Professor Eliz­abeth Ardayfio-Schandorf, Mrs Florence Mangwe Hutchful and Mrs Comfort Owusu, were among 22 award recipients for their exceptional contribution to national development at the 10th Ghana Women of Excellence Awards ceremony held in Accra.

The trio were recognised for their exceptional performances in their respective field of endeav­ours.

Emerita Ardayfio-Schandorf is a seasoned geog­rapher and Chairperson of the Public Interest and Accountability Committee (PIAC), Mrs Hutchful comes in as the first President of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management, Ghana and Mrs Owusu as the Executive Director of the Association of Rural Banks (ARB) Ghana.

The awards, held on the eve of the Internation­al Women’s Day, is a component of Ghana’s ob­servation of the Day which was under the theme ‘Empowering the Ghanaian woman for National Development.”
