Ghanaian gospel sensation, Diana Hamilton, received the surprise of her life during her Akwantu Pa Awake Experience concert in London over the weekend.
The surprise came as the CEO of Ghana Music Awards USA, Don Denise, presented her with an unexpected award.
The gospel powerhouse was awarded the Gospel Artiste of the Year at the 5th edition of the Ghana Music Awards USA .
The surprise presentation occurred mid-concert, adding an extra layer of celebration to an already uplifting and spiritual event.
The crowd erupted in applause as Don D took the stage to honour Diana Hamilton for her exceptional contributions to the gospel music industry, both in Ghana and internationally.
Hamilton, who is widely known for her inspirational songs and soul-stirring performances, expressed her gratitude to her fans and the GMA-USA team for the recognition.

Romeo Swag wins TV3 Mentor Season 13
Fast-rising Ghanaian musician, Romeo Swag, was declared the winner at the grand finale of the Mentor Season 13 event held at the National Theatre on Sunday, January 12.
He beat four other finalists to claim the coveted title and a significant prize package.
After 13 weeks of intense competition, five talented finalists remained: AJ Tunes, Rey Cooper, Jimi, Romeo Swag, and Robby Kay, vying for the coveted title.
Romeo Swag walked away with a significant prize package, including GH₵80,000 cash and GH₵80,000 worth of airtime.
Rey Cooper and AJ Tunes emerged as the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Empress Gifty’s mother, Agaga goes on Saturday
Evangelist Agnes Abafoduba Annan, actress and mother of Ghanaian gospel musician, Empress Gifty goes home on Saturday.
The veteran actress affectionately called Agaga or Maame Fante passed away on December 14,2024 after a short illness.
The final funeral rite will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Tema Community 8, No.3 School Park.
This would be followed by a thanksgiving service at Bethel Family Assemblies of God Church at Tema Community 22 on Sunday, January 19, 2025.
The family and loved ones will gather at Community 8, No.3 School Park after the church service.
Agnes Abafoduba Annan was born on December 9, 1954, at New Takoradi Railways Quarters to Mr. Albert Kweku Annan, a Carpenter with Ghana Railways and Madam Mary Donkor, a fishmonger,both of blessed memories.
