Dr. Likee features in Kaakyire Kwame Appiah’s Christmas classic tune

Legendary Ghanaian Highlife musician Kaakyire Kwame Appiah has dropped visuals of his new Christmas song titled “Biibiibaooo Bronya” featuring talented comedian Ebenezer Akwasi Antwi popularly known as ‘Dr Likee’.

The new song is a reflection on the upcoming Christmas song and how friends, families would gather to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year.

Kaakyire Kwame Appiah’s who has over the year’s churned out timeless Christmas tunes, once again dazzles on this banger which is already making waves.

The video directed by P. Kay captures some ecstatic scenes of joyful moods with other actors including Oteele, Kyekyeku, Ama Tundra, among others displaying their dancing skills.

Kaakyire Kwame Appiah in an interview said that he wanted to use the song to ignite the Christmas feeling as it approaches and encourages merry making among families and friends.

He described the new song as one of his best Christmas tunes and hoped it would become the number one song during the festivities.

Kaakyire Kwame Appiah has numerous Christmas hit songs to his credit including “24th”, “Yenkodi”, “Di Bronya”, among others.

 Miss Ghana 2025 finalists unveiled

 The talented 16 contestants have been unveiled at a grand ceremony held at the Tang Palace Hotel in Accra last Saturday.

These finalists made the cut following gruelling auditions in No­vember 2024, where young women from across the country show­cased their beauty, intelligence, and passion for service.

According to the organisers, the search is for a queen who exem­plifies selflessness, intelligence, discipline, and dedication to soci­etal service.

The contestants will go through calculated weekly tasks ahead of the highly anticipated grand finale on March 29, 2025.

Each contestant will now rep­resent their respective regions as they compete for the prestigious Miss Ghana 2025 crown.

Organised by Exclusive Events Ghana and Miss Ghana Foundation, the Miss Ghana pageant is more than just a beauty competition.

As part of the modalities, the winner will not only represent Ghana on the global stage at Miss World but will also lead charitable initiatives under the Miss Ghana Foundation, focusing on support­ing vulnerable communities.

The contestants expressed their readiness to prove their mettle in the competition for the ultimate.
