Election 2024: NDC will no longer tolerate intimidation in Abuakwa South –Asiedu Nketia cautions
The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has expressed the party’s resolve to counter every attack in Abuakwa South.
According to him, the NDC will no longer tolerate intimidation in the Abuakwa South constituency.
Addressing party faithfuls at Akyem Adukrom in Abuakwa South, Mr.Asiedu Nketia said, for many years, the NDC has come under attacks in the constituency.
Against this backdrop, he said the party has put in place some measures to ensure these circumstances do not recur.
“In 1996, immediately we lost the election, our party office was set ablaze, is that how democracy is practiced?,” he queried.
“ I have intentionally come to Abuakwa South to send a strong warning that there is not a ‘No Go Area’ for the NDC in Ghana, and it will never happen,” he said.
