Gospel legends honoured at Women In Worship

It was a charged atmosphere filled with a lot of nostalgia and anointing, as Ghanaian gospel music legends lined up to mesmerise patrons at this year’s Women In Worship show.
The honoring and timeless experience of Women In Worship themed, ‘Alpha and Omega’ came off on Sunday September 20, 2020 at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) auditorium, Madina with over 500 patrons gracing the occasion.
The evening couldn’t have started on wrong foot , as organisers of the event “Genet Services” held a beautiful honoring experience with sponsors of the event at the hotel. Building a platform for merrymaking, networking and the presentation of brand products to the legends.
On the day of the event, Darling Hair,Black Secret Make up arrived with their teams at the hotel to perform a total beauty make over duty, ATL Fabrics gifted fabrics which was beautifully crafted to fit by Ophelia Crossland and Abs Collections to complete the Style Up agenda by the organizers.
Organisers of the event, Genet Services lived up the buzz and the intent of honouring the legends as all of them were chauffeured in luxurious vehicles in a motorcade from their hotel to the event venue with customised number plates, indicating their names, after they were housed in Ah Hotel at East Legon from September14.
At the venue, they had an amazing red carpet treat, coupled with an interview session prior to the main show.
The tone for an absolute praise and worship was set as Bernice Offei opened the event with amazing songs like “Hold On, Life, Meko So” and others from her repertoire.
This was followed by masterful performances from the likes of Abaawa Connie, Rev Esther Nyamekye, Show Stopper Helena Rhabbles, Amy Newman, Stella Aba Seal, Hannah Marfo, Mary Ghansah, Diana Hopeson, Tiwaa of Yaw Sarpong Fame and the ever green duo Tagoe Sisters.
Indeed, it was a night of non-stop worship and praises, as patrons received breakthroughs and divine blessings among others.
Nana Micheal, CEO of NMJ Ghana added a paid dinner event to host the legends, and to complete the whole experience of relaxation, Yolo Beauty Salon offered a spa treat session which was slated to commence immediately after the main worship night.
The event aimed at honouring gospel legends had support from ATL Fabrics , Yazz Ghana, NASCO Electronics, SweetHub Ghana, Twellium Industries, KABFAM, Darling Hair Ghana, Kpakpo X Graphics, Gino and Gino Max, Greystyl, NMJ Ghana, Black Secret Make Up and Wilmar Africa, producers of Fortune Rice, title sponsors.

Miss Ghana 2025 finalists unveiled

The talented 16 contestants have been unveiled at a grand ceremony held at the Tang Palace Hotel in Accra last Saturday.
These finalists made the cut following gruelling auditions in November 2024, where young women from across the country showcased their beauty, intelligence, and passion for service.
According to the organisers, the search is for a queen who exemplifies selflessness, intelligence, discipline, and dedication to societal service.
The contestants will go through calculated weekly tasks ahead of the highly anticipated grand finale on March 29, 2025.
Each contestant will now represent their respective regions as they compete for the prestigious Miss Ghana 2025 crown.
Organised by Exclusive Events Ghana and Miss Ghana Foundation, the Miss Ghana pageant is more than just a beauty competition.
As part of the modalities, the winner will not only represent Ghana on the global stage at Miss World but will also lead charitable initiatives under the Miss Ghana Foundation, focusing on supporting vulnerable communities.
The contestants expressed their readiness to prove their mettle in the competition for the ultimate.
This year’s pageant is being sponsored by Bullet TV and supported by Gold Presence, Tang Palace Hotel, Belaqua, Bel Beverages Ghana, Pippa’s Health Centre, Central Hotel, Accra, Airport Women’s Hospital, Renault Ghana, and Premium Motors Limited.
