Look-alikes should have fun provided they don’t cross boundaries – King Promise

Award-winning Afrobeats singer, King Promise has advised celebrity look-alikes to have fun and not go beyond their limits.

Speaking to ace broadcaster, Abeiku Santana on Okay FM’ Drive Time Show,  the ‘Ginger’ hitmaker said he is honoured to have someone see him as a mentor and would want to dress and behaves like him.

King Promise added that he was happy to see them try to hustle, and make music, just to find a way to survive.

According to him, ” I see them as having fun, and I enjoy watching.”

This notwithstanding, he said they could do all these provided they do not cross boundaries by using his name to do any illegal move or do music and other related businesses in his name.

The issue of look-alike has in recent times become a bone of contention as Ghanaians remain divided over the phenomenon.

As some believe it is a harmless culture creeping into the country’s creative space, there is a section with the conviction that it should not be entertained.
