Lordina The Soprano voices out a difficult challenge Gospel artistes face in the industry

Lordina The Soprano

Gospel choral artiste Lordina The Soprano In an exclusive interview, has voiced out one of the biggest challenges faced by the gospel musicians in the industry.

In the interview monitored by thespectatoronline.com she says, “The gospel industry is seen as a ministry, such that, ministers are supposed to bless people with their gifts (music), not in expectance of any fee.

That is to say, gospel musicians shouldn’t receive money when being called upon to grace programs of which usually attracts God’s blessing. This is one of the major problems the Gospel fraternity faces”.

Moreover, she added  that most ministers in several cases do not charge, but in situations where much money is required, they tend to do so.

“In order to resolve this challenge, there should be a conversation between the host and the minister invited, since mutual understanding and agreement is reached.” She advised.
