Miss Golden Stool: Agyakowaa adjudged Best Performer
Representing the people of Bekwai in the Ashanti Region, Agyakowaa was adjudged last Sunday, November 12, as the contestant who was able to mesmerise the judges and audience.
This year’s Miss Golden Stool beauty pageant commenced with some excitement as contestants sounded their readiness to thrill patrons in the weeks ahead during the launch.
This week’s focus was on marriage ceremonies amongst various Akan communities in the country.
On the night, the judges, Nana Adwoa Awindor, Okyeame Kwame and Mary Nyamekye singled out Agyarkowaa as the best performer.
Agyakowaa played the role of a family elder, Opanin Kojo Kum who led his son and the family from the Ashanti Region to ask for a Ga-Adangbe lady’s hand in marriage.
This was after the family had done their enquiries to pave the way for knocking and subsequently the marriage ceremony.
Throughout her delivery, the judges saw her display as engaging, informative and had a touch of humour which was admired by many in the auditorium and at home.
Her presentation narrated the process through which a marriage ceremony is held in the Ga-Adangbe communities in Ghana.
For her remarkable display, Agyakowaa was given products from sponsors.
On the same night, Ababio, Araba and Oseikrom were saved as unlucky Frimpomaa and Antwiwaa were evicted.
The organisers urged the public to continuously vote for their favourites for their constant stay in the competition.
Another exciting episode will take place this Sunday on Adom TV at 8:30 PM.
Season 5 of Miss Golden Stool was launched at a spectacular event on October 15, 2023 on Adom TV.
The pageant is aimed at celebrating Ghana’s cultural diversity, beauty, talent, and intelligence of the contestants.

AfroGee and Kofi Kinaata team up on ‘Adom Bi’ to encourage youth
In a bid to uplift disheartened youth, singer cum rapper AfroGee has partnered with award-winning musician Kofi Kinaata on a new inspirational single, ‘Adom Bi.’
Drawing from his personal struggles, AfroGee shares in the song how God’s grace transformed his life when all other efforts failed.
“I’ve tried everything—education, hustling on the streets, and other means—but God’s grace came through in ways I never imagined,” he reflects in the lyrics, attributing his success entirely to divine intervention.
Kofi Kinaata adds his own testimony to complete the song: “I used to be overlooked and faced countless setbacks. Now, what God has done is beyond words—I need help expressing my gratitude. Today, bank alerts are flowing, and Jah never fails.”
AfroGee explained that the song was born from a deep desire to encourage the youth who may feel stuck or hopeless. “Having experienced that sense of despair myself, I knew I had to use my story to inspire others,” he shared.
He also emphasized the importance of collaborating with Kofi Kinaata, saying, “Who better to join me than Kinaata? We’re childhood friends from Effiakuma, and I know his story and talent would make this song truly impactful.”
Produced by WillisBeatz, ‘Adom Bi’ is available for streaming on all major platforms and can be accessed via [linktr.ee/mightyafrogee](https://linktr.ee/mightyafrogee).
