Nominations open for Ghana Modeling And Fashion Awards 2023

Lark Empire, organisers of the Ghana Modeling And Fashion Awards, have opened nominations for the second edition of the awards.
The Ghana Modeling And Fashion Awards(GMFA) is an annual event to honour and reward outstanding individuals for their immense contributions to the growth of the fashion and modeling industry over the years.
According to the Chief Executive Officer for Lark Empire, Larkuor Adjartey, nominations would close on June 3.
The categories for the awards include,Fashion Designer of the Year,Emerging Designer of the Year,Discovery Model of the Year,Hairstylist of the Year and
Female Model of the Year,
Other categories are Male Model of the Year,Makeup Artist of the Year, Accessory Designer of the Year,Fashion Photographer of the Year,Fashion Icon of the Year,Modeling Agency of the Year and
Fashion School of the Year.
The rest are Fitness Model of the Year,Media Fashion Personality of the Year,
Fashion Event /Show of the Year,Fashion Celebrity of the Year and Fashion School CEO of the Year.
Individuals could file for nomination by sending names, pictures, categories and social media handles among other pages.

Kwabena Kwabena to ‘paint’ Grand Arena red on Val’s Day

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian musician, Kwabena Kwabena, is calling on all lovers to converge on the Grand Arena on Valentine’s Day for an unforgettable experience.
‘Asor’ is 20 years old, and we are looking forward to launch ‘Asor’ @20 at the event this year,” he told The Spectator in an interview.
According to him, it was not easy to stay in the music industry for 20 years, “So I see it as a special event to appreciate my team, and all those who have been part of this journey.”
Against this backdrop, Kwabena Kwabena urged all lovers to come under one roof on Valentine’s Day to rekindle their love in a charged music atmosphere.

“Love is beautiful, bring your loved ones for us to celebrate love, I will set the tone and ambience for you to celebrate your loved one,” he said.
Kwabena Kwabena on the night would be supported by other heavyweights in the music industry including, King Promise, Kidi, Olive The Boy, Fameye and surprise female artistes.
Since the inception of the event in 2014, every edition has been a memorable one filled with love intertwined with music.
