Our focus is to meet listeners’ expectations – Kwadwo Dickson

The General Manager of the newly launched Accra- based radio station, Angel FM, Kwadwo Dickson has disclosed that meeting the expectations of their listeners is their focus.

According to him, the listeners make the station and for that matter they must always be factored into programming to meet their expectations.

Speaking to The Spectator, at the launch of the station on Monday, he said the team had been rejuvenated to serve listeners with an unforgettable radio experience.

In line with their commitment to reach many people in and outside Ghana, the company has a network of radio stations in the country and beyond to increase their reach.

As a General Manager, he expressed his excitement for how far they have come as a company within the short period of time.

On how ABN was able to secure the services of the likes of Captain Smart, Kofi Adomah, Nana Yaa Brefo, DJ Willie, Ohemaa Woyeje, who were formerly with Multimedia, he said it was difficult from the scratch, however, with determination, the discussions were fruitful, at last.

He expressed his gratitude to Dr.Kwaku Oteng, Founder and Chairman of Angel Group of Companies for his unflinching support to ensure the growth of the brand.

Kwadwo Dickson was optimistic that with the competence of those who have joined the group, Angel FM will live up to expectation.

Kwabena Kwabena named brand ambassador for Kibo Motorcycles

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian musician, Kwabena Kwabena, has been named brand ambassador for motorcycle company, Kibo.

The Ghanaian hitmaker was unveiled at a short ceremony which took place at Coco Vanilla in Accra on Friday, October 25, 2024.

Kwabena Kwabena in his address said, his new role was to inspire a new generation of riders who appreciate the artistry and responsibility of motorcycling.

 He called on all and sundry to come together to build a strong community of people who share their passion and excellence.

Kwabena Kwabena was optimistic that there would be a time where each household in the country would have a motorcycle.

The Chief Executive Officer for Kibo Motorcycle, Francis Owusu, on his part expressed excitement in selecting Kwabena Kwabena as a brand ambassador, highlighting their preference for a Ghanaian representative whose qualities of safety, reliability, durability, and style reflect those of their bikes, which will be made in Ghana.

Kibo rolled out its first bike in 2017, designed in the Netherlands and assembled in Kenya. Since then, Kibo has opened a number of retail and service centres across the country and elsewhere in Africa, such as Ghana.
