Sarkodie has never charged me for a show before – Akwaaba UK CEO

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Akwaaba UK, an event firm in the United Kingdom (UK), Denise Tawiah has shockingly disclosed that decorated Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has never charged him for a show before.
Akwaaba UK is an event firm which over the years has been bringing the Ghanaian Community in the UK together through events and other spectacular corporate activities.
Speaking to D-Black recently on his Uncut Show on DSTV’s Akwaaba Magic, Mr.Tawiah disclosed that “Sarkodie is one artiste who has never charged me for a show before. He has played more shows for me without charging me.”
According to him, Sarkodie has performed for him more than any other artistes, “He has done more shows for me than any other artistes.”
Mr.Tawiah said Sarkodie told him, “If I charge you, you will not be able to pay.”
The Akwaaba UK CEO noted that he has also told Sarkodie that “the day I will pay you, that day it is going to be a million dollars,” he added.

You’re Artiste of the Year- Patoranking tells King Promise

Celebrated Nigerian musician, Patoranking has tipped King Promise as Ghana’s Artiste of the Year.
According to him, King Promise is best suited to be awarded Artiste of the Year at this year’s Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
He made this comment when performing at a concert staged by King Promise at Washington DC in the United States yesterday.
It would be recalled that King Promise whiles performing last weekend in Ghana made the point the he has worked hard that any artiste in the country and deserves to be crowned the ultimate.
This point made stirred the music space, making other pundits and journalists recounts the successes he chalked last year.
Born Gregory Bortey Newman, King Promise had global appeal in the year under review with successful tours across Asia, including Bali, as proof of his influence beyond Ghana’s borders.
He also rocked music lovers in Europe, Africa, North and South America among others.
Currently, King Promise is on a tour of United State filling auditoriums and delivering unforgettable experiences through his artistry.
He is nominated alongside King Paluta, Team Eternity, Stonebwoy, Black Sherif, Kweku Smoke and Joe Mettle.
