 This year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) kick-started this week and a total of 602, 457 students participated in it.

The figure includes 1,743 Private Candidates.

The BECE is the assessment exam­ination taken by students at the end of their Junior High School (JHS) edu­cation. The students are assessed in a range of subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Social Studies, among oth­ers.
