Accra High School launches Centenary celebration

Accra High School, a premier senior high school in Accra will be hundred years next year, August, 2023.
A school that started with only eight students in August, 1923, in the suburb of Accra called “Aayalolo” has grown steadily, trained and produced many important personalities in academia, politics, medicine, chieftaincy, media and others.
Activities earmarked to publicise and promote this amazing milestone starting today Saturday, August 27, 2022 include a centenary launch and fundraiser.
It promises to be a worthwhile and exciting event with lots of fun coupled with bonding and networking opportunities.
Many dignitaries such as the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia; the first female Metropolitan Chief Executive of Accra, Honourable Onukpa Mrs Elizabeth Sackey, Chiefs, Members of Parliament, Diplomatic Corps, esteemed Onukpai/Old Students and other professionals would be present.
The event starts at 9:30am at the forecourt of AHISCO, opposite the German & Swiss Embassies, Ridge and not far from the Ridge Hospital.
