Afriyie GMB thrills guests with fashion style at 2024 Pulse Influencers Award

 The 2024 Pulse Influencers Awards under the theme, “Futuristic Fashion: AI Glamour,” witnessed the gathering of influencers and content creators across the nation at De Icons, Accra to celebrate their remarkable achievements.

One of the highlights on the night was the fashion state­ment the influencers brought on the red carpet, turning heads on the internet.

One of such was 2020 Ghana’s Most Beautiful finalist and fashion influencer Mer­cy Nartey, known as Afriyie GMB’s remarkable outfit which caught the attention of the viewing public both online and in person.

Afriyie GMB was seen in an eagle inspired AI-couture designed by Nigerian Celebrity Illustrator Mimi Okeren and styled by Ghanaian fashion designer Samuel Kojo Dadzi of Selsam Couture Gh.

Speaking with The Specta­tor, Afriyie GMB underscored the positivity of the eagle say­ing, “The eagle is a symbol of strength, freedom, and vision and its attributes can be the inspiring reason for my design with an incorporation of smart metallic fabrics to match the event theme.”

She further indicated that her motivation to grace Ghana’s event red carpet was to register her footprint in the fashion industry.

Afriyie made an iconic ap­pearance earlier at the Telecel Ghana Music Award (TGMA) this year wearing a master­piece by Selsam Couture with a King Promise Artwork on the train of the outfit.

Other personalities with their AI designs that gained at­traction at the event included a media and communication professional Abena Soreno and trailblazing figure in the world of fashion, Wesley Kesse.
