Akwaaba UK congratulates new UK Trade envoy to Ghana

A team from leading Ghanaian international Marketing Communications and Trade Facilitation Company, Akwaaba UK, led by the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Dennis Tawiah, on Wednesday February 12, 2025, paid a courtesy call Bell Ribeiro-Addy, Labour Member of Parliament for Clapham and Brixton.

The visit was to congratulate Bell Ribeiro-Addy on her appointment as the United Kingdom’s Trade Envoy to Ghana. She is one of the thirty-two Trade Envoys appointed as part of the UK government’s ‘global growth team’, which seeks to drive UK exports and investment.

Mr. Tawiah assured Bell Ribeiro-Addy of his outfit’s readiness to collaborate with her office and avail her of his years of expertise to strengthen ties, boost trade, and explore areas of common interest and opportunities for collaboration between Ghana and the United Kingdom.

On her part, Hon. Bell Ribeiro-Addy thanked Mr. Dennis Tawiah and his team for the courtesy call and sharing insights on opportunities for possible collaboration between the United Kingdom and Ghana for the benefits of businesses and citizens of the two countries.

Other members of the Akwaaba UK team were the Operations Manager for Akwaaba UK, Mr. Francis Miller – Mingle, Akwaaba UK Engagement Liaison, Ms. Akosua Ofori and Ghana’s Tourism Ambassador, Mr. Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana.
