Ashanti Regional minister meets former ministers

Ashanti Regional Minister,Dr. Frank Amoakohene, on February 11, 2025 met with former Regional and Deputy Ministers from both National Democratic Congress (NDC) and New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The meeting which was held at the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (ARCC) for advice and insight.

In attendance were,Osei Asibey Antwi (2006 – 2008),Elizabeth Agyemang (2017 – 2020),John Alexander Ackon (2016 – 2017),Mrs. Appiah Dwomoh (1992 – 2000),Samuel Sarpong (2014 – 2015) and Amb. Ohene Agyekum (1992 – 2000).

34-year-old Dr. Frank Amoakohene who is the youngest Ashanti Regional minister is a medical professional and youth leader with expertise in healthcare, governance, and public service.

He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Ghana, a Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science degree from UDS, and an MBA from Accra Business School.

As seasoned politician, he is currently serving as the Ashanti Regional Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) with various leadership roles, including serving as President of NAHSAG and NUGS, where he championed student welfare and advocacy at the national level
