Ayew Brothers have not resigned from Black Stars – Spokesperson

Spokesperson for the Ayew Family, Fiifi Tackie has reacted to reports making rounds that the Ayew Brothers have resigned from the national team.
According to him Andre Ayew and his brother Jordan Ayew are still committed to the national team.
The rumour followed the recent dropping of the captain of the Black Stars Andre Ayew from the squad to face Mali and Central African Republic in crucial World Cup Qualifiers.
In a post on Facebook, the Spokesperson noted “Please be advised that recent reports of the Ayew Brothers, Andre and Jordan, resigning from the national team are entirely false.”
According to him, Andre has had a remarkable season, scoring six goals in all competitions, and is currently enjoying a well-deserved holiday.
He added that Jordan Ayew is currently in the camp of the national team and he is proud and honoured to be part of the team for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Mali and the Central African Republic.
Fiifi Tackie added that they remain dedicated to their careers and committed to the national team.
“We urge fans and supporters to disregard the misinformation and continue to support the Ayew Brothers and the Black Stars,” he concluded.
