Be cautious of worldly desires – newly trained Pastors advised

The Jomadj Christian College of Theology held its 2nd Pastors’ Graduation and Ordination Ceremony last weekend in Accra.
Themed, ‘The Need to Train Ministers of Integrity’, a total of eight graduands were ordained and awarded certificates.
Founder of the College, Rev Dr Mrs Joyce Orleans Madjitey, said the college would begin degree in Theology in January 2022 adding that applications were open for students who had obtained Diploma in Theology from the college and other institutions.
Highlighting the College’s Five-Year Development Plan, she appealed for support from benevolent individuals and organisations to support the Lord’s work by helping the school secure more teaching and learning materials.
President of Ordained Christian Ministers Association, Bishop Dr. Robert Ansah also tasked the graduands to be cautious of worldly desires.
“Just as Jesus was tempted by the devil, you shall also face numerous challenges but with integrity you will be able to overcome it. Therefore, seek the kingdom of God and He shall give you everything” he noted.
Mr. Anthony Gbile, speaking on behalf of the graduands, was thankful for the commitment of the lecturers throughout their academic journey.
Founded in 2019, the school’s vision is to impart the truth of the scriptures to students who are willing to learn and disseminate same to their congregation and fellowship.
