Beaming Love Foundation donates to Tamale Children’s Home
Beaming Love Foundation, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) focusing on home and family life, have donated food items to the Tamale Children’s Home.
Mrs Eunice Nkegbe, co-founder of the foundation who presented the items said, it was part of their foundation’s Beaming Love Ghana Baby project to support the children during the COVID-19 pandemic.
She said, the items were raised with support from friends who also have the welfare of children at heart.
She said, the food items donated were bags of rice, cartons of biscuits, nonalcoholic drinks, water, bread and toiletries.
Mrs Nkegbe urged organisations and individuals to have the welfare of underprivileged children at heart in order to provide conducive environment for them to thrive.
She also urged the staff of the home to practise the World Health Organisation safety protocols in order to stay safe while taking care of the children.
Madam Mawulorm Apeletey, the head of the home who received the items on behalf of the children commended the members of the foundation for their kind gesture.
