Bethany Christian Services Ghana inaugurates new office complex in Accra

Child and family welfare organisation, Bethany Christian Services Ghana has inaugurated a new office complex at East Legon, in Accra.

The new building comprises offices, reception, conference hall, washrooms and kitchens among others.

Speaking to The Spectator at a short ceremony on Tuesday, the Country Director,  Naa Adjorkor Mohenu said, the new office complex would enhance the activities of the Bethany Christian Services Ghana.

According to her, their former office did not have enough rooms like the new place, for this reason they would be able to reach out to more families and strengthen more homes as their mission indicated.

Mrs. Mohenu said, she saw this as an expansion, adding that it is strategic to be in the centre of the capital town to impact more lives.

“We now have more rooms, offices among others to accommodate more people and comfortable seats to enhance work she said.

She was thankful to the global organisation and all stakeholders for this tremendous support and uplift promised that whatever had been provided would be put to good use.

Rev.Richmond Tettey of Abeka Presbyterian Church officially ushered staff of Bethany Christian Services Ghana into the new office.

Over 75 years ago, Bethany Christian Services began their work by serving a single child.

Today, their presence is felt in more than 30 states and more than a dozen countries worldwide, serving more than 50,000 people every year.

Their priority in Ghana is to keep children stable and safe with their family of origin, and when that is not possible, they find local foster families who can provide a loving home.
