Black Stars hold final training ahead of crucial Mali clash

Twenty-six players trained on Monday ahead of Ghana’s trip to Bamako for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Mali.

The team will depart Accra today, Tuesday afternoon for the clash in Bamako for their FIFA World Cup Matchday 3 qualifier against Mali.

Otto Addo’s men have been training in Accra for the past four days in readiness for the crucial game in Bamako.

The Black Stars are looking to bounce back from their uninspiring opening to the qualifiers following a 1-0 win over Madagascar and a 1-0 loss to Comoros in November last year.

They go into the game in search of Ghana’s first win in five matches in all competitions (two defeats, three draws).
