According to him, musicians went to the studio, recorded and paid for promotion as well as shot expensive videos.
This notwithstanding, he said the returns from the music was nothing to write home about.
“When you are not doing something aside music in Ghana how do you fund all the processes leading to having a hit song and staying relevant?GHAMRO, which is the collection society is not efficient to collect and properly distribute what the artiste is entitled to,” he said.
He admitted there were some endorsement deals, among others artistes could get, but it was better to get a lucrative side job as a security to be able to cater for yourself, family and invest in the music.
