Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh is ready to transform Ghana with his ‘arrogance’- Afenyo Markin

The Majority Leader, Afenyo Markin has reiterated the readiness of the running mate of the New Patriotic Party(NPP)  Dr.Mathew Opoku Prempeh to transform the country with what  people describe as arrogance. 

According to him, Dr.Mathew Opoku Prempeh with his stay at the Ministry of Education was able to implement  a monumental programme like the Free Senior High School policy.

Speaking at the NPP Manifesto launch on Sunday,  August 18, he said Dr.Mathew Opoku Prempeh is also ready to debate NDC’s Running mate, Prof.Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang. 

“Even if you tag him as arrogant, we know you have done it to Akufo-Addo,  I didn’t work, he’s ready to transform Ghana with his arrogance as a Vice President, ” he said.

He said those who are frustrated, “the middle class, who are worried and feeling the economic challenges,pinch, I say this to you.I am a businessman myself,  I know the cost of doing business, I know the challenges that we face today, but I tell you, if it were to be those people,  it would have been worse.”

He added “Your worries keep us awake and we are working tirelessly at it to address this challenge.”

The Majority Leader appeqled that the solution is not to turn back the clock, adding that the the alternative are the same old people who could not transform the economy.

He said, “we know their track record, they have not changed and in this campaign they have not told Ghanaians a single thing of what they stand for.”
