Fritz Ramseyer Memorial Church marks traditional day in style

The Fritz Ramseyer Memorial Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), Bubuashie in Accra came alive last weekend with the church’s traditional day celebration.
It saw members of the congregation adorned in colourful traditional attires and spiced with beautiful locally made jewelries while they sang joyful melodies to the glory of God.
The rhythmic sway of the Kente cloth, the graceful elegance of kaba with slit, and the dignified presence of fugu garments and other variety of attires painted a picture of rich heritage and unity among the congregation.
The children were not left out of the celebration. With their infectious energy and smiles, they embraced the occasion wholeheartedly and appeared resplendently draped in attires depicting their culture and roots.
From the youngest to the oldest, each member radiated pride in their roots, embracing the opportunity to showcase their traditions.
Throughout the day, the church was filled with the sounds of drumming and singing, as hymns intertwined with traditional melodies, creating a symphony of celebration.
As the service drew to a close, there was a palpable sense of fulfillment and community spirit lingering in the air.
