GFA sanctions history TNA Stadium inaugural game between Medeama and Kotoko

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has granted approval for a high-profile friendly match between Medeama SC and Asante Kotoko to mark the inauguration of the state-of-the-art new TNA Stadium.
The one-off match, which comes off on Friday, August 16, 2024, will serve as the official commissioning of the newly constructed Stadium.
The Ghana Football Association is firm in its belief that the two Premier League Clubs shall abide by the relevant GFA Regulations to ensure a successful match and give a befitting opening to the ultra modern 10,400 seater Stadium.

The Ghana Police Service has arrested two more suspects in connection with the violent disturbances that occurred during the football match between Nsoatreman FC and Kumasi Asante Kotoko FC
The suspects, Isaac Ofosu and Yeboah Augustine are currently in Police
custody assisting in the ongoing investigation.
This brings to five (5) the number of suspects so far arrested in connection with
the incident, which occurred on February 2, 2025, at Nsoatre in the Bono
Region.
An Intelligence-led operation is still ongoing to get the rest of the perpetrators
arrested to face justice.
