Ghana National Gospel Music Awards postponed

Peter Sergio
The Organising Committee of the Ghana National Gospel Music Awards has postponed the 2023 edition of the Awards.
A statement signed by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Committee, Mr Peter Dwobeng Sergio, said the decision to postpone the event was based on logistical challenges and other circumstances beyond the group’s control.
“We understand that the decision taken may disappoint many who have been eagerly anticipating the event, nonetheless we are committed to producing a memorable celebration of Gospel Music excellence when it is absolutely right to do so,” it said.
Winners of the previous edition had therefore been assured that a special industry ceremony would be held to present them with plaques ahead of the next edition of the awards scheme.
The statement, thus encouraged Gospel music enthusiasts to stay safe, connected and continue to support and uplift one another as done over the years.
“Your continued support is inevitable, and we look forward to coming together to celebrate the incredible talent within the Gospel music industry at a later date,” it said.
