The First Runner-Up, in the 2021 Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) contest, Dr Setor Abra Norgbe during the yuletide embarked on a thank-you-tour in the Ho municipality to express gratitude for the support she enjoyed from the people in the area and beyond.

She stopped over at the Cured Lepers Village at Ho and donated various food items, water and detergents to the inmates.

The items, worth about GHS10, 000 included bags of rice, soap, toilet rolls and cooking oil, tinned fish, biscuits and toffees.

Dr Setor Norgbe was accompanied by Togbe Adza Nye IV, Dutorfia of Ziavi, and Dr Gameli Norgbe, a seasoned medical practitioner and a prominent citizen of Ziavi.

The pretty doctor said that the gesture was in line with the spirit of Christmas “during which we are all expected to demonstrated our love for one another,”

“Thank you all for supporting me,” she added.

Mr Nelson Atito, the caretaker of the village thanked Dr Setor Norgbe for the gesture, saying it was a true reflection of her love for the cured lepers.

He said that there were 105 cured lepers at the village who needed support in various ways from not only policy makers but also from the public.

Earlier, Togbe Adza Nye said that the best way to demonstrate one’s love for others was to share the little one had with them.

Later in the day, a durbar was held at Ziavi, the hometown of the 2021 GMB First Runner-up, in her honour.
