With few months to the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA)’s national election, gospel artiste, Mr Daniel Agyin, popularly known as Goldmann, has stepped down as the union’s Greater Accra Chairman aspirant.
Goldmann who has been campaigning for months, decided to put the elections on hold due to family issues.
“After much reflection and discussion with my family, I have come to the difficult realisation that my dedication to union work must take back seat and attend to the needs and well-being of my family,” he explained.
In a statement issued on July 16, Goldmann explained that his family has always been at the core of his values.
The ‘Nyame Adom’ hitmaker said that despite his renouncement of the position which may sadden his fans, he urges them to support his music ministry.
“Although I have made great impact in the union it is not easy for me to step down from the opportunity to serve,” he noted.
Goldmann who hails from the Eastern Region said he was saved through music in 1996.
The Gospel artiste has released interesting songs like ‘Ayeyindwom’, ‘Asem’, ‘Nyame Adom’ among others.
