NGMA: It’s double! …as Franky 5 wins Gospel Music Promoter again

Host of This is Gospel ‘TiG’ on Hitz FM, Frank Kwabena Owusu, affectionately called Franky 5, has for the second time won Gospel Music Promoter of the Year (Radio/TV) at this year’s National Gospel Music Awards.

The event held last Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the Accra International Conference Centre saw top-brass of the gospel music fraternity gather to honour those who had worked hard in the year under review.

Franky 5 won same category last year for his immense contribution to the promotion of gospel music in Ghana.

In an interview, Franky 5 expressed his appreciation to his production team for their support in making the TiG show a success.

He said that the honour meant a lot to them, “As it has encouraged us to continuously push the gospel agenda on radio and television.”

Franky 5 thanked the organisers for establishing such a platform to help honour those playing important roles in the industry.

He charged gospel artistes and the relevant stakeholders in the industry to work together with a mission of taking gospel music to the next level.

He said that his doors were opened to support the cause of gospel music.
