NPP-NDC clash at Mamobi: Police restore calm
The Ghana Police Service has restored calm at Mamobi, a suburb of Accra, following disturbances between supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the area.
The unfortunate incident resulted in the injuries of nine persons.
Seven of the injured victims have been treated and discharged while two are still receiving treatment at the hospital.
Meanwhile according to the police, an intelligence-led operation is currently ongoing to get the perpetrators who have been identified by the Police arrested to face justice.
