Philanthropist supports La District Police Command
A Philanthropist and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of RAD Kitchen, Mr Raymond Addai-Danquah, has handed over a newly constructed office space to the La District Police Command to enhance its operations.
This follows a request from the command to Mr Addai-Danquah some months ago, to which the native of La responded positively.
He also conducted extensive renovations on the facilities, including painting the entire station and bungalows, replacing window nets and fixing of an air conditioner for the station officer’s office.
Additionally, he provided the station with new police barricades and police reflective vests to enhance their patrols for the upcoming La Homowo festive season and beyond.
Handing over the project last Sunday, Mr Addai-Danquah said the gesture was to show appreciation to the service for working tirelessly to maintain peace and order in the community.
“For me, this is a response to the call from police and public collaboration for the common goal of fighting crime and securing lives and property; this is something the RAD Group of Companies stands for.”
The La District Police Commander, ASP Patience Klomegah, on behalf of the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Accra Regional Police Commander, Cantonments Divisional Commander, and the La District Command, expressed gratitude for the gesture.
She acknowledged the importance of Mr Addai-Danquah’s contributions to the Command, stating that it is a testament of faith in the work of the police in the community, for which the station is grateful and would spur them to work extra hard to safeguard lives and property.
“This generous gesture will significantly enhance our work conditions, and we promise to make the best use of the items to serve the community even better,” she added
