Police arrest suspect for causing damage to Big Six monument at airport roundabout
The Ghana Police Service Saturday, August 31, 2024, arrested suspect Newwel Gavu for causing damage to a monument and some sign posts at the Airport roundabout in Accra.
Newwel Gavu was seen in a viral video causing distraction to the statue.
Quickly some good smaritans who witnessed this unfortunate incident reported him to the airport security for his subsequent arrest.
The suspect is currently in custody and will be taken through the due process of the law.
The police commended members of the public and the Airport security for their vigilance which led to the arrest of the suspect.
