Questions to ask people living on our streets

The people living on streets in Africa in general and Ghana in particular should be identified by the appropriate authorities, by their families, relatives and friends as well as by private and individual entities and thereby granted access to proper housing, should be given access to basic skills and training that would earn them money for a good living.

To attain this, the following questions should be asked about these people; Who are these people living on our streets? Where do they live and how do they make ends meet? Where do they actually hail from? Do they have any other major occupation?, among others.

On the issue of housing and training, the following questions could be raised: Could such people be ever housed properly? What would be the costs? Who would be willing to bear such costs? (to be continued.)
