Sarkodie did not handle Yvonne Nelson issue well- Ohemaa Woyeje

Broadcaster, Ohemaa Woyeje has waded into Sarkodie, and Yvonne Nelson brouhaha, in an interview on GTV Breakfast Show.

According to her, Sarkodie’s release of a diss song as a reply to Yvonne Nelson’s assertions in her book, “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson” was not the best.

The broadcaster said she doesn’t think Sarkodie handled it well, “probably he could have said we were growing up and we were young and it happened and I’m sorry.”

Ohemaa Woyeje said, “for Sarkodie to do banter with Yvonne Nelson wasn’t right, “it’s a feminine world, the moment you do stuff like that, you pinch all other women and they will come after you.”

Speaking about the book, Ohemaa Woyeje said she doesn’t condemn Yvonne Nelson for bringing out all the issues, however, she is a mother and would not want her daughters to handle her the way Yvonne Nelson handled her mother in her book.

“I am a mother, if my daughters grow up and they decide to handle me this way,” Ohemaa Woyeje added.

The broadcaster added she thinks Yvonne Nelson has done an amazing work, “strategically, there is no book which has created such controversy for that I give her a thumbs up, but for other matters, her mother would feel that her own daughter had sold her out.”
