Stephilar Nwaala attempts GWR for largest skirt

Ms Stephilar Adiza Issaka Nwaala, an Accra-based fashion designer will be attempting to set a new Guinness World Record (GWR) for the largest skirt from May 31 to June 4, 2024.
The event would be held the premises of Bluecrest University College, Kokomlemle in Accra.
In an interview with The Spectator Agoro Ms Issaka said sewing was her passion since childhood and “I have dedicated myself to bringing this extraordinary project to realisation.”
The attempt, she said was to “raise awareness about the importance of clothing provision for the less fortunate, inspire other young ones like me to pursue their passions fearlessly and to challenge me to break my limits.”
“Through this record endeavor, I seek to inspire generosity and encourage donations to support my mission of clothing the needy. Every stitch represents a step towards warmth, dignity and hope for individuals facing hardship,” she stated.
