SUWMA donates to Royal Seed Orphanage

Some SUWMA executives.

 The Susanna Wesley Mission Auxil­iary (SUWMA) of the New Aplaku Circuit of the Methodist Church Ghana last week donated assorted items to the Royal Seed Orphanage at Kasoa Papasi in the Central Region.

The items included milo, pow­dered milk and groceries, washing powder, crates of egg, soft drinks and toilet rolls.

Presenting the items, the Circuit Chairman, Augustina Adjoa Nunoo, said the exercise was aimed at giving hope to the children.

She stated that the founder of Methodism, Susanna Wesley, was a prayerful, caring, hardworking and a believer of Christ and that due to her faith and prayer life, one of her children became a servant of God.

According to Madam Nunoo, the Methodist Church have many organi­sations, one of which is SUWMA which gives recognition to Susanna Wesley as the mother of Methodosim

She said the aims and objectives of the organisation was to care for ministers, orphans, widows and desti­tute in the society.

The Susanna Wesley Mission Auxiliary (SUWMA) of the Methodist Church of Ghana is an association of female members in the Church who are committed to cleaning and decorating the church, organising retreats, ministering the gospel to prisoners and participating in all church activities.
