The Grandmaster Godwin Avenorgbor bows out
Reports reaching thespectatoronline.com indicate that veteran broadcaster, Godwin Avenorgbor, popularly known as Big Godwin has passed on.
He died on Monday, August 19, 2024. The cause of death is not immediately known.
Until his demise, The Grandmaster, as was affectionately called, was the Director of Communication for the Melcom Group of Companies.
His long-time employers, the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), posted a terse notice of his sudden demise via social media platform, Facebook, late Monday.
During his days at GBC, he anchored many programmes with his distinctive voice and later as a public relations and corporate communications specialist until his unfortunate demise.
