The Legendary Night Concert to promote Ghana music abroad-Prince Moore
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Stayjay Entertainment , Prince Moore has reiterated his commitment to promoting Ghana music on the international market with The Legendary Night concert slated for March 26 at 02 Brixton in London.
Samini, Keche, Praye, Darkovibes, Antwi Ne Antwi, Mr.Drew, Prince Bright, Sydney, Dada KD, EL, Mzbel, Nana Boroo, Lord Paper, Kofi Mole, Kaakyire Kwame Appiah, Joyce Blessing, KK Fosu, Kokoveli, Sefa, Okomfo Kwadee, Bosom Pyung and Nana Kwame among other heavyweights would participate in the event.
He said, there was the need to push Ghana music abroad for the world to see the quality.
Speaking at the launch of The Legendary Night event which at Indulge Restaurant at Labone on Thursday, February 17, 2022, he said the concept was to promote Ghana music.
He said about five years now it had been difficult filling some huge auditoriums in United Kingdom, and for that reason, steps should be taken to address the situation, especially in a country regarded as the base of Afrobeat.
They have, therefore, resorted to this strong lineup regardless of the difficulties encountered in making this dream a reality.
Prince Moore expressed appreciation to his team and called for unity from various stakeholders in the music industry to champion a single agenda.
Mr. Gilbert Aggrey, affectionately called Abeiku Santana, Chief Executive Officer of Kaya Tours, partners of the event also said, the line-up was carefully done to have artistes from all generations, taking into consideration audience demographics and dynamics.
According to him Kaya Tours decided to partner the event due to its desire to promote Ghana music outside the borders and called on Ghanaians to support this initiative to stand the test of time, adding that Ghana music was ecoomically beneficial.
Abeiku Santana called for close collaboration between musicians from all generations to drive the Ghana agenda and urged Ghanaians in the UK to patronise the event to help in the growth of Ghana music in the diaspora.
