TV3 honours promise, hands over two-bedroom house to Optional King

Mohammed Lukman,known in showbiz circles as Optional King was last Friday filled with joy when TV3 handed over a two-bedroom house to him at Lakeside Estate in Accra for winning Mentor Reload.
For him, the package had delayed, it was delivered at the right time in his career.
The house consist of a backyard,a Kitchen, bathroom, a hall, two-bedrooms, a storeroom, CCTV, overhead polytanks, fibre for internet service among other facilities.
Speaking at the handing over ceremony, the General Manager of Media General, Mr.Francis Doku said, after few years of going on break, TV3 reintroduced Music Reality Show Mentor, which was named Reloaded in late 2019.
He said, there were cash prizes, huge amount of airtime for promotion, souvenirs and a house for the ultimate winner.
According to him, while preparing to present the packages to the winners after the final in February, 2020, COVID-19 struck, this notwithstanding, all other prizes were presented to the winners awaiting for the house to be completed.
He said, through frantic effort by management of TV3, an agreement was reached with Lakeside Estate for a befitting abode for the winner.
“Media General has always been minded by the promise they make to their contestants in all reality shows and are known to honour them. I thank Group CEO, Beatrice Agyemang, management and staff for their relentless effort,” Mr.Doku said.
The Chief Executive Officer of Lakeside Estate, Dr.Patrick Ayiku on his part said they were delighted to be partners with Media General in fullfiling Optional King’s dream.
The elated Optional King, expressed appreciation to Media General, traditional leaders and the teeming fans for their unflinching support and votes.
“I am very grateful, I think this is the right time for this to happen, because we have gone through a lot of challenges including COVID-19, thank you for your votes,” he said.
