TV3 partners Twellium for ‘Bigoo Family Dance’ competition
Families have been presented with a rare opportunity to exhibit their unique dance prowess with the launch of TV3 Bigoo Family dance competition.
The initiative is a partnership with Twellium Industrial Company aimed at engaging families to awaken their creativity.
Speaking at the launch of the new programme last Thursday, the General Manager of 3Media Group, Francis Doku said, the partnership with Twellium is aimed at creating more exciting, but challenging content to engage their audience.
He said this requires families of four to come on stage and dance to a certain theme for the week without any age restrictions, adding that one does not have to be a professional dancer to qualify to be a part.
“With the group of four, it could be uncles, siblings, nieces, brothers or a child with the grandfather or grandmother among others,” Mr.Doku added.
It was revealed that astute Ghanaian dancer, Dancegod Lloyd, popstar Eazzy and former Ghana Dance Champion, Adjetey Sowah would be the in-studio judges.
This notwithstanding, viewers would have the opportunity to also determine which family wins the ultimate prize by voting for their favorites.
This would provide the best family the chance to win an all-expenses paid family trip abroad, cash prizes and various products from the sponsors.
For this reason, families across the country have been invited to send in audition videos to TV3, while on-site auditions started from December 16,2023 at Adesa we Kanda, Accra.
According to the Head of Events for Twellium Industries Limited, Kendrick Yehowada, the idea came about at a family party when the last bottle of Bigoo beverage was being contested for through a dance competition.
