We’ll elect a new President, not a second-hand… Dr.Bawumia jabs Mahama
The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party Dr.Mahamudu Bawumia has jabbed former President John Mahama during the final lap of his tour of the North.
According to him, Ghana will elect a new President, not a second-hand one.
He made these remarks on Tuesday night at the Youth Connect held at the C.K. Tedam University in Navrongo.
“We are going to elect a new President in 2024, I mean a new President, not a second hand President, I repeat, a new President,” he said.
According to him, the country will elect a new President that will take the people into the future.
He added that the country at this point does not need a President who will take the people backwards.
“We are looking forward not going backwards, we want a President who thinks about possibility not impossibilities, we want a Ghana that will be a beacon for all Africa and the world to see,” he added.
He added, “Former President Mahama is a former President, let us maintain him as a former President.”
