Women’s Premier League Match Commissioners conclude One-Day WorkShop in Accra

 A one-day workshop has been conducted for Match Commissioners of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League in Accra.

The Workshop is to equip the Commissioners with essential skills ahead of the 2024/2025 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League season.

The training targeted Match Commissioners assigned to officiate in the upcoming season, focusing on, the Competition Management System operations, and Effective pre-match technical meeting, accurate match reporting, rules and laws of the game, including recent amendments, Identifying and preventing match fixing and manipulations, Club Licensing regulations, Safety and Security protocols and Safeguarding regulations.

The Match Commissioners also explored, Game amendments, specifically handball and offside situations, penalty issues and significance as well as best practices for upholding game integrity in the forthcoming season.

This initiative underscores the GFA’s commitment to excellence, integrity and transparency in Ghanaian football, paving the way for a successful 2024/2025 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League season.
