Bofoakwa Tano maintain unbeaten run, Gold Stars humble Real Tamale United

Bibiani GoldStars were simply unstoppable in front of their fans as they beat Real Tamale United 3-0 on Matchday four of the betPawa Premier League at Dun’s Park.

Ronald Frimpong scored a brace against his former team after scoring in either half to help his new team to a comfortable win. Ronald opened the scoring in the 25th minute before Appiah McCarthy added the second goal for Bibiani Gold Stars inside 35 minutes.

Ronald Frimpong added to the tally – his second of the day in the 78th minute.

The win takes Bibiani Gold Stars to 6 points – climbing to the 4th spot in the League standings whiles Real Tamale United sit in 16th place with 4 points.

At the Accra Sports stadium – Accra Hearts of Oak drew blank against Dreams FC. The game looked defensive as there were few opportunities for both teams making life extremely difficult for strikers as both ends held to draw 0-0 at the Accra Sports stadium.

Nations FC came from behind to draw 1-1 with Legon Cities FC at the Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

The debutants conceded in the 7th minute through midfielder Joseph Mireku before midfielder Barimah Baah leveled matters for Nations FC in the 54th minute.

Bofoakwa Tano put up yet another fantastic display to draw 0-0 against Kpando Heart of Lions at the WAFA Par at Sogakope.

Karela United failed to take advantage of playing in front of their fans as they were held 0-0 by Accra Great Olympics at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.

Nsoatreman FC secured their second win of the season with a 1-0 win over FC Samartex 1996 on Sunday.

Former Hearts of Oak and RTU midfielder Umar Manaf scored the only goal of the match in the 34th minute mark to give his side all the spoils.

The win takes Nsoatreman FC to the third spot in the Premier League table with six points – with a game in hand against Dreams FC.

Ghana’s U-15 Boys’ team kicks off CAF African Schools Football Championship against Uganda

Ghana’s U-15 boys’ team will begin their CAF African Schools Football Championship campaign against Uganda at 11 am on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

The team will then face South Africa on Thursday, followed by a match against Algeria to conclude the group phase. To progress to the semifinals, Ghana will need to finish either 1st or 2nd in their group.

The 2025 CAF African Schools Football Championship kicks off on Wednesday, April 23, and wraps up on Friday, April 26, 2025, at the University of Ghana Stadium.
