GFA School: DOL Media Managers & Venue Media Officers attend Communication in Football course

The Ghana Football Association’s Ghana Football School has organised a Communications in Football Course for Media’s Managers of the various Division One League Clubs and the GFA’s Venue Media Officers (VMOS) at the respective match venues.

The course was organised at the Conference room of the GFA Secretariat on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

Marketing and Communication’s expert Neil Armstrong Mortagbe took the Media Managers and VMOs through the CAF/ FIFA Standard Media Matchday operations.

He further took the Media Officers through extensive training on effective Brand Communications as well as how to manage Club Communications to improve sponsorships and partnerships.

After a Q & A session, the President of the Ghana Football Association Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku presented certificates of participation to the Club Media Managers and VMOs.

The course was aimed at taking the Media Managers through the Standards of Matchday Media Operations as well as other Media functions at their respective match venues.

Ghana’s U-15 Boys’ team kicks off CAF African Schools Football Championship against Uganda

Ghana’s U-15 boys’ team will begin their CAF African Schools Football Championship campaign against Uganda at 11 am on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

The team will then face South Africa on Thursday, followed by a match against Algeria to conclude the group phase. To progress to the semifinals, Ghana will need to finish either 1st or 2nd in their group.

The 2025 CAF African Schools Football Championship kicks off on Wednesday, April 23, and wraps up on Friday, April 26, 2025, at the University of Ghana Stadium.

Ghana’s U-15 Girls’ team to face Morocco in CAF African Schools Football Championship opener

Ghana’s U-15 girls’ team will kick off their CAF African Schools Football Championship campaign against Morocco at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

The team will then take on Benin on Thursday, followed by a match against Malawi to conclude the group phase. To secure a semifinal spot, Ghana will need to finish either 1st or 2nd in their group.

The 2025 CAF African Schools Football Championship kicks off on Wednesday, April 23, and wraps up on Friday, April 26, 2025, at the University of Ghana Stadium.
