Minister of Youth Development visits NYA

Minister of Youth Development, George Opare Addo yesterday paid a working visit to the National Youth Authority (NYA).
The visit to NYA which is an agency under the ministry was to familiarise with activities of the agency and understand the challenges they face.
At the NYA he was warmly welcomed by Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Osman Abdulai Ayariga, Deputy Acting CEO Alhaji Anquarah Inusah and other management team members.
Subsequently, George Opare Addo conveyed the best wishes of President John Dramani Mahama and shared his expectations for the Authority.
The Minister in his address emphasised his commitment to collaborating with all youth development and empowerment agencies to tackle the challenges faced by young people in Ghana.
Additionally, he encouraged the staff of the Authority to work closely with their management to effectively fulfill their mandate.
“I am dedicated to partnering with all stakeholders to significantly reduce youth unemployment and empower young people in Ghana to pursue and achieve their dreams. Together, we can make a difference! ,” he concluded.
