After weeks of gruelling encounter, there was whittle down from 16 regions of the Ghana Most Beautiful contestant, to the top five for a cagey encounter at the National Theatre on Sunday.
The night started with a charged auditorium with lovers chanting and shouting names of their favourites to win the ultimate.
The contestants showed their project through a heartwarming performance for the audience to admire and the judges to pass judgement.
It was followed with a daunting session, where the contestants were posed questions to test their intelligence.
At the end of these hard-bitten rounds, Teiya reigned, as she wrested the crown in addition to other prizes from other contestants.
For winning, she took home, GH¢10,000, a brand new car, one year’s supply of GTP fabric, GH¢20,000 medical insurance and spa treatment, a new techno phone, all-expenses paid international trip and hampers from the sponsors.
For her amazing display, Aiko from the Oti Region emerged 2nd, taking home GH¢8,000, six months’ supply of GTP fabric, GH¢15,000 worth of medical insurance and spa treatment, all-expenses paid trip and souvenirs from Airtel-Tigo.
Asiedua who represented the Central Region came 3rd, and received GH¢6,000 with three months’ supply of GTP fabric, Airtel-Tigo data and hampers from sponsors.
Eastern Region’s Amoani took fourth place with a GH¢5,000 cash prize, one month’s supply of fabrics from GTP, and one month’s supply of data on Airtel-Tigo mifi and hampers from sponsors.
The Volta regional representative, Xornam who placed 5th received – GH¢3,000 and hampers from sponsors.
On the night, patrons had fun with sterling performances from winner of Mentor X, DSL, legendary Kwabena Kwabena and Bhim Nation President, Stonebwoy.
