GFA publishes status of submitted GPL venues ahead of inspection
The Club Licensing Department, in consultation with partner departments, have communicated the current status of their submitted match venues to all Ghana Premier League clubs.
A practice that commenced last season is to ensure that clubs are guided on the relevant defects at their match venues ahead of the main inspection.
The venues have been placed in three groups.
The inspection shall be conducted by the Licensing Manager Mr. Esme mends and a team of GFA trained inspectors led by the Director of Competitions Julius Ben Emunah from August 8 – 21, 2024.
The detailed pre-inspection report and the scheduled time for inspection have already been communicated to all clubs.

GPL Voilent Disturbances: Police arrest two more suspects
The Ghana Police Service has arrested two more suspects in connection with the violent disturbances that occurred during the football match between Nsoatreman FC and Kumasi Asante Kotoko FC
The suspects, Isaac Ofosu and Yeboah Augustine are currently in Police
custody assisting in the ongoing investigation.
This brings to five (5) the number of suspects so far arrested in connection with
the incident, which occurred on February 2, 2025, at Nsoatre in the Bono
Region.
An Intelligence-led operation is still ongoing to get the rest of the perpetrators
arrested to face justice.
